Blackened Fields of Eastern Kansas
Our regualar route takes us through southern Kansas, and at this time of the year, nearly all the agricultural fields are being burned to bring the grass on. This is so wide spread that the air in the eastern half of the State is smoky and unhealthy. We were glad to drive out of the area.
