This is not an impressive photo, but the rivers of the southwest are not impressive bodies of water. However, any body of water in this part of the continent is of interest. On our way from Alamogordo all the way to the middle of Oklahoma, we crossed very few streams or rivers with water flowing. The first that had water was the Pecos at .... and the second was not until the Canadian River near the border with Oklahoma. The next River was the Cimmarron River in Oklahoma.
