This is view across one of the many ponds at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Reserve on the Rio Grande. We go there every year to see the winter birds but mainly, in February, for the Sandhill Cranes and Snow Geese. This year the Cranes and Geese had left by the 10th and we saw only a few stragglers. But we did enjoy seeing other S.W. birds.
