Note: Died last Saturday December 18, 1886, Samuel Eusey, age 67 years (sic), of asthma. Mr. Eusey was born 17 July 1819 (sic*) Kanton Berne, Switzerland. He immigrated to this country in the year 18__, and then was married to Dora Newhouse. This union was blessed with seven children of whom six are living (sic**). He leaves his wife and there children, besides numerous friends to mourn his departure. The funeral took place Monday and was largely attended. The Eusey family of Indianapolis, Indiana were present. John Eusey, who is the oldest engineer of the New York, Pennsylvania and Ohio Railroad was in attendance. Rev. Lober preached the funeral service.
