Obituary - Charles Fayette Schwab Galion Inquirer 25 Nov 1963 (Transcribed by L.Bogan - 5 Apr 2012) Sulphur Springs - Charles F. Schwab, 85, died in his home here at 10:15 am Sunday. He had a heart ailment and had been ill for the past year. Schwab had lived in this area since 1908 and was a retired contractor and farmer.

He attended the St. John United Lutheran church here.

Born June 2, 1878 in Boomville, he was the son of Christian and Sarah Schwab. He married the former Sarah Pfahler Feb 17, 1909 who survives. Two daughters survive: Mrs. Raymond Heiby, Sulphur Springs and Miss Mildred Schwab, Columbus. Four sisters survive: Mrs. Nina Miller and Mrs. Charlotte Berry, Detroit; Mrs. Marie Cooper, Middlefield and Mrs. Fern Ross, Marion, Ind. Four grand children also survive.

Friends may call Tuesday evening in the Wise funeral home where services will be held Wednesday, 1:30 pm, by Rev. Richard Bauerle, pastor of the Good Hope Lutheran church in Bucyrus.

Burial will be in the Union cemetery here.
