Note: Mrs. Elizabeth Caskey. At 12:10 o'clock Thurs morning, Mrs. Elizabeth Caskey closed her eyes in death at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr and Mrs Charles Gahris, on Fourth street, with whom she made her home. About one year ago Mrs Caskey suffered a stroke of paralysis, but recovered, and a week ago Monday was stricken a second time. Mrs. Caskey, whose maiden name was Elizabeth Stose, was born in Marion county, May 29, 1835, begin 69 years, 7 months, and 20 days old. She was married to Levi Caskey fifty-three years ago, and this union was blessed with eleven children, six of whom, with the husband and father, preceded her into eternity. The surviving children are Mrs. Harry Edelman, residing in Marion county; George Caskey, at Wyandot; Mrs Charles Gahris, in this city; Isaac Caskey in Columbus; and Clemence Caskey, in Bucyrus. Mrs. Caskey was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church for fifty years and was a kind and Christian lady, who had endeared herself to a large number of friends. The funeral will occur from the Methodist Episcopal church Friday afternoon, at 2:30 o'clock, standard, and will be conducted by Rev Chas Bennett. Interment will be made in Old Mission cemetery."
