Obituary

Betty Joan Armer, 70, died at 1:20 pm Sept 24, 2002 at Shwnee Manor Nursing Home. She was born April 23, 1932 in Cridersville to Ray F. and Evelyn Reichelderfer Bogan, who preceded her in death. On Dec 31, 1980, she married Donald L. Armer, who survives in Lima. Mrs. Armer was a homemaker and had retired as a bailiff for Lima Municipal Court. She was member of St. Matthews Lutheran Chruch and a former member of Peace Lutheran Church. Survivors also include five sons, David Beer of Dallas, Marj Beer of Las Cruces, NM, Scott Beer of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jon Beer of Columbus; a stepson, Steve Armer of Tampa, Fla; three daughters, Cindy Sloan of Dallas, Julie Kirkendall of Broken Arrow, OK, and Karen Robinson of Davenport, IA; two step daughters, Denise Burden of Port Charlotte, FL, and Robin Niles of St Johns; a sister Marylin Sennhauser of Babitt, MN; and 17 grandchildren and three stepgrandchildren. Services will begin at 19:30 am Saturday at Byliff and Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Burial will be in St Matthew Cemetery, Cridersville. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm today and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Friday at the Funeral Home.
