| Obituary | BENJAMIN EUSEY SUCCUMBS TODAY IN GALION HOSPITAL Benjamin Franklin Eusey, who resided with his son Charles Eusey, a mile east of Galion, passed away at 5:20 a.m. today in Galion Community hospital where he was admitted Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Eusey had been in poor health for several years and confined to bed for 10 weeks. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Eusey, a lifelong resident of this community, was born in Crawford County, Dec. 7, 1871, the son of Samuel and Dora (Newhouse) Eusey. Dec. 25, 1895, he was married to Margaret A. Bogan of North Robinson who preceded him Jan. 5, 1948. He is survived by eight children, Raymond and Charles Eusey of Galion, William Eusey of Mansfield, Mrs. Lee Garverick of Crestline, Rolland Eusey of Mt. Gilead, Mrs. Mahlon Breidling of Ida, Mich., John Eusey of North Robinson, and Mrs. Raymond Mouck of Iberia. Also surviving are 33 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Barbara Christman of Galion. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in the Snyder funeral home, with interment to follow in WIndfall cemetery. His pastor, Rev. H.K. Deimer of Trinity Lutheran Church of Crestline will officiate. |
