E.G. Smith Succumbs to Effects of Injury sustained in Recent Fall

E.G. Smith whose misforturne falling from a barn where he was engaged in painting has already benn noted in this paper, died at his home in North Robinson at 12:00 o'clock Wednesday noon, with out having regained consciousness since the accident. Mr. Smith had been in good health until he .. with this fall.

The funeral will be held from t.. Lutheran chruch at North Robinson Friday noon at 12:30 o'clock standard time. Services will be conducted by Rev. Nicholson of B..ville, recently pastor of the North Robinson church. Burial in Oakwood cemetery Bucyrus.

Edwin Garrett Smith was born Oct 23 1850 and had reached the age 62 years, 10 months and .. days. His birthplace was near Duncannon, Perry county, Pa. while He was still a boy his parents came to Crawford county and the greater part of his life was spent here. He was married June 2, 1874 to Alice M. Magers a daughter of the late Alfred Magers of Sandusky township. She survives him. Six children were born to them. One, William Paul died in 1895. The living are Clyde, wife of Roy Warde... North Robinson; Belle, wife of .. W. Boyer of Nevada; Florence, wife of F.H. Caskey, North Robinson ... Harvey F. Smith, Nevada, and My..tie, wife of George White. Bucyrus. Besides the wife and children there are quite a number of grandchildren.

Mr. Smith was a member of La Salle lodge I.O.O.F. of Bucyrus and the K.O.T.M. at North Robinson. He was one of the most prominent and respected citizens of the villiage. For many years he was in business there with excellent success. For a year past he had been engaged with Mre. Deam in painting. He was a man of strict integrity, was genial and generaous, and respected and loved by all who knew hin. His life was on of usefullness. His neighbors sorrow with his family for his tragic death and extend to them the deepest sympathy in their grief. =====================
