He was admitted to the hosp last Jan 16 and had been ill for the past two years. He was a resident of North Robinson. Mr Bogan was born in Jefferson Tp., Crawford Co., Oct 26, 1872, a son of Henry and Leah ann Kunkle Bogan. His marriage was Dec 3 to Jessie M Smith, who survives with one daughter and four sons, Mrs Edna Bair of North Robinson, Chester H. Bogan, Arthur A Bogan of North Robinson, Paul L. Bogan of Lucasville, Ray F. Bogan of Lima, 13 gc, 17 great gc, one sister Della Hill of Mansfield, and two bros., J.A. Bogan of Mansfield and Frank L. Bogan of Crestline. He was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. A resident of North Robinson and vicinity all of his life, Mr Bogan operated the saw mill in that village for 50 years. He retired in 1941.....Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery...." Marion Star, 4 Aug 1955
