Ray M. Bair, Galion Grocer Dies at Home in North Robinson

Ray Marion Bair, 60, who conducted a grocery at 141 South Jefferson Street, died at his home in North Robinson today at 2 am after an illness of two weeks. Friends may call at the Snyder Funeral Home this evening and at the late residence after 11 o'clock Thursday morning. Services will be held at the funeral home Friday at 2:30 pm conducted by Rev. C.L. Carnahan, pastor of the Ev. United jBrethern church at North Robinson of which he was a member. Interment will be made in Fairview Cemetery. Nature of Whetstone twonship, Mr Bair had spent most of his life as a resident of the township and of North Robinson. for 26 years he drove a school bus at North Robinson and for the past 12 years had been in the grocery business at North Robinson and later at the Galion Jefferson Street address. He was the son of Samuel M. nad Minerva e. Morrow Bair and was born April 22, 1889. He was united in marriage May 21, 1912 at Galion to Edna Irene Bogan who survives with a daughter, Mrs. Loren Pfahler and three granddhildren: Marlene Louise, Charles Marion and Alan Loren Pfahler all of North Robinson.
